Ocean Drive Miami Beach

Ocean Drive South Beach

Stretching south of 1st to 15th Street in a north to south direction, world class Ocean Drive is responsible for the South Beach aesthetic that most out-of-towners of foreigners have come to expect. It remains one of the top tourism and spring break destinations and also plays host to popular hotspots like Pearl and Nikki Beach. Ocean Drive dining is also in a class of its own, boasting mainstays like the News Café, lively Mangos and the Clevelander, frequently seen on MTV.

One of Ocean Drive’s Art Deco landmarks is the classically iconic Carlyle Hotel near 13th Street built in 1939. Chances are you’ve seen it somewhere as it’s commonly used as a backdrop or setting for photo shoots, television shows and both small and big budget films.
